1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at www.myhaloplus.com, booking a service, or otherwise engaging with hālo+, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. About hālo+ and Our Services
hālo+ is a luxury mobile massage and spa service based in Austin, Texas. We provide professional massage therapy services delivered directly to your location — home, hotel, or office — throughout Austin and surrounding areas.
Our services include, but are not limited to, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and curated wellness experiences, all performed by licensed massage therapists.
3. Not Medical Advice
The services provided by hālo+ are not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Massage therapy is a wellness service intended to promote relaxation, stress relief, and general well-being.
Nothing on our website or communicated by our staff should be construed as medical advice. You should always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
4. Health Intake and Contraindications
For your safety, you are required to disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or contraindications prior to your session. Failure to do so may affect the quality or safety of your service.
hālo+ reserves the right to decline or modify a service if our therapist determines that proceeding would be unsafe or inappropriate given your disclosed or observed health status.
5. Booking and Appointments
All appointments are booked through our scheduling platform at cal.com/myhaloplus/massages. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email or SMS from hālo+.
You are responsible for ensuring that your service location is safe, accessible, and provides adequate space for our therapist and equipment. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if the location is deemed unsafe or unsuitable upon arrival.
6. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Appointments are reserved especially for you. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment or refusal of future bookings at hālo+'s sole discretion.
7. Payments and Pricing
Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept all major credit cards through Stripe. A one-time $30 dispatch fee applies to all at-home bookings.
Gift certificates and promotional discounts (including the first-session 10% discount) are applied at the time of booking and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
8. Refund Policy
All sales are final. Refunds are issued only at the sole discretion of hālo+ and only in cases where the service was not delivered due to an error on our part. To request a refund or discuss a service concern, contact us at jessica@myhaloplus.com.
9. Professional Conduct
hālo+ provides professional therapeutic massage services only. Any request for sexual services or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of the session without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.
Our therapists have the right to end any session at any time if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
10. Liability Limitation
By booking a service with hālo+, you acknowledge that massage therapy involves physical contact and carries inherent risks. You accept these risks voluntarily.
You agree to hold harmless hālo+, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims arising from your use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim.
11. SMS Messaging Program
Program name: HALO+ SMS Program
Program description: By opting in through our website, you consent to receive SMS text messages from hālo+ including appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and exclusive offers.
Message frequency: Up to 4 messages per month depending on your booking activity and promotional periods.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to opt out. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at jessica@myhaloplus.com.
Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and MetroPCS. Carrier liability is not accepted.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of hālo+ and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
